MAP ist ein Decken- und Wandbeleuchtungssystem, das neue Maßstäbe für modulare Beleuchtungslösungen setzt. Entwickelt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Berliner Studio GECKELER MICHELS, wird dynamisches Design mit fortschrittlicher Lichtleistung in Einklang gebracht. Das unverwechselbare grafische Erscheinungsbild des Projekts ist eine Verbindung der verschiedenen Module durch ein gespanntes Stoffband, TAPE, das als formgebendes Element des gesamten Systems dient und unendliche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten schafft: Wie eine Landkarte, die Räume neu gestaltet und an leuchtende Sternenbilder erinnert, ermöglicht MAP die freie Anordnung der Lichtpunkte, wodurch Rhythmen und Kompositionen entstehen, die jeden Raum beleuchten und dekorieren.
Die Vielseitigkeit des Systems macht es ideal für Räume mit architektonischen Einschränkungen, wie z. B. gemauerte Decken oder das Fehlen von zentralen Beleuchtungspunkten, und gewährleistet eine optimale Lichtverteilung ohne invasive Eingriffe. Vom Startmodul aus wird das mit speziellen Leitern versehene Gewebeband zwischen den verschiedenen Beleuchtungspunkten gespannt und speist das gesamte System, wobei die Stromversorgungsquelle stets verborgen bleibt.
