Boschart Residence and Restaurant

Lodes features in the new Boschart restaurant in a residential neighborhood in Antwerp, designed by spnkr. The Tournai-based architecture and interior design studio has incorporated the Volum suspension lamp by Snøhetta for Lodes into the space, creating a vibrant yet cosy feel. The Boschart Restaurant offers an attractive and relaxing space which invites diners to sit down, lounge and mingle. The ceilings are adorned with the Volum lamps - seamless and understated in design – they project an uninterrupted, 360-degree light, creating a calming and coherent atmosphere within the restaurant. Each Volum lamp measures 42cm, yet each globe is slightly different in shape due to the glass-blowing process, resulting in a naturally imperfect circle. The glossy white lamps are elegant and minimal, integrating well with the other design elements. For example, the lamps gently glow above the wooden dining tables, placed between the room dividers which feature natural curves, earthy shades and hanging plants. Additionally, the lamps draw from the brightly patterned wallpaper, creating a considered, harmonious aesthetic.
