Appartamento alla Riviera di Chiaia

On the noble floor of the historic Palazzo Ravaschieri di Satriano, overlooking Naples’ Riviera di Chiaia, a restoration and renovation project brings new harmony to a protected space, blending heritage with contemporary design. A large room with 7-meter-high wooden ceilings—once part of the building’s grand ballroom—has been reconfigured into a living area and master bedroom, divided by a custom-designed partition wall that houses a double-sided fireplace, climate system, and integrated media. Lodes lighting plays a key role in enhancing the space: A-Tube Nano fixtures are mounted on architectural covers designed to conceal past structural work, arranged in a radial composition above the lounge area and in a linear setup over the dining table. The result is a clean, understated lighting scheme that emphasizes volumes and materials. The project also includes a bespoke kitchen, guest suite, and a mezzanine wellness area with a small spa—creating a warm, luminous atmosphere where the elegance of the past meets modern living, with a view of the sea.
