IL CONVENTO – A Luxury Guesthouse in Monopoli

IL CONVENTO, a refined accommodation facility, was created from the restoration of a former convent located in the heart of the historic centre of Monopoli. The project respected the soul of the place, keeping the signs of time intact and enhancing the existing features through a contemporary and refined language. Natural light interacts with artificial light to create intimate and evocative atmospheres. In this dialogue, the Elara suspension lamp by Lodes becomes a contemporary feature that inhabits the space with lightness and defines the visual centrepiece of the master bedroom. With its soft, adjustable light, it helps to create a welcoming experience, balancing history and modernity, inviting guests to linger, read and slow down to experience the rhythm of the convent. The result is a place that not only welcomes, but also tells a story of dialogue between past and present, where every detail – from the texture of the walls to the choice of lamps – contributes to creating a poetic harmony.
